Richard Hessler, “Rick” moved to Lafayette, LA in 1976. He attended USL and received a General Studies degree in 1991. Rick became a firefighter in December of 1996, and presently remains a firefighter in Opelousas, LA. Rick started his craft of entertaining children since 1999 with balloon twisting, a unique clown character, a growing magic show, and stilt walking. Of all the characters, balloon twisting remains his favorite.  Rick has regular establishments that he twists and entertains in Acadiana.
